Anytning marketed as "exclusive" never stays exclusive because they know they can make money selling more of them. The SR you and I have is probably more rare than any other 3rd gen Taco on the road.

 

Cement was around long before it was ever on the Tacoma. VooDoo blue as well. Nothing exclusive about either color.

 

Yes the bearded SR that I have for the farm is rare in certain zip codes

In other zip codes they are a dime a dozen

Exclusivity is all relative

 

I see Sports the most, ORs second, and SR-5s. It's probably about the same for those 3 trims. I see a fair share of SRs. Limited is the rarest. I've only noticed one Pro, it was cement on the road. I don't see much of a difference between a stock Pro, and the stock OR when on the road.

2nd gen Pros, seem to stand out more in traffic vs other 2nd gens.

 

Well I don’t need an Audi RS7 . Cement was on Tacoma for Pro only for a certain time and that’s why I bought it

Get some Gucci seat covers if you want exclusivity.

 

When I had my 16 QS OR, you couldn’t throw a rock without seeing a OR in QS here

But when cement pro came out, you could easily tell at the mall parking lot that it’s a pro, due to exclusive color

I seen a cement Audi, forgot what it was because who cares. It did look like a S, or a RS. I thought why put a Toyota/Scion color on your German sports sedan.

So let me get this straight - the 2018's didn't come out until about February of THIS YEAR. And here it is only August and the are going to have the 2019s available for order soon??

Even before the Scion TC, and FJ TT?

I barely researched it, what I read said the RS7 was a 2015. The 2012 FJ TT was Cement, and I think the TC was available in Cement before that. Looks the A7 was available in 2010.

 

I was looking for an SR5 around Houston after my '08 got totaled end of August. Couldn't find anything so had to get one of the last SR5s in this area. The dealer I went to is a large dealer and his lot was damn near empty.

 

Audi released it in 2010 with 2012 in the 2013 model year for the exclusive RS cars

I am not familiar with Scion

All I care about was it was exclusive to my Pro , just like inferno was exclusive to 2nd gen taco pro

August is 2019 production and shouldn’t be too long to hit dealers

 

That thread was started 11/12/17, and nobody had one yet. 2018s was definitely an unusual release, I had my 2017 at the end of August 2016.
