Hey guys and gals...just curious if the 4 banger has enough power to get a GFC Platform? Completely stock, just picked her up...will eventually upgrade wheels/tires but not planning on to many mods. Thanks in advance!

As long as you're not in a hurry to get up to speed on the interstates and going up mountain grades I think you'd be fine with a 4cyl and GFC combo. The GFC doesn't weigh much more than a standard truck canopy. You'll want to be thoughtful about what you haul because gear, water, food etc can easily exceed the weight of the GFC. Also, I'd suggest beefing up your rear suspension.

Honestly, the GFC is probably one of the best options for the Four Cylinder given that it's around 300lbs for the shell and the tent. My SnugTop is close to that, but it's a bit slipperier in the air.
