Looks like there will be a soon released 2020 version anytime camera. Just got a 2020 with everything but the advanced tech package I wasn’t impressed by the camera quality for the $$ and didn’t really need the side cameras. I do however like the option of adding a front camera and rear camera that can be used at any speed. There’s a blank here but I know people with previous year models were losing either their bsm button or parking sensor button...hopeful this blank could be used for the switch but I’m guessing the wiring will need to be extended to allow. Anyone else with a 2020 find another company offering forward facing cameras yet?

Car Solutions. You use the “mode” button on the steering wheel. Plug & Play. I’m pretty sure the 2020 model will be released shortly

Sweet so use the steering wheel button rather than a switch?

Correct. You toggle the up and down arrows for the front and rear camera. YouTube Car Solutions Toyota Tacoma. There’s a good install video.

Did you purchase the actual camera from Car Solutions too? If so, how is the quality?

I would stay away from anytime backup products. I went with car solutions. If the 2020 unit will be like the 2016-2019 very easy install with no switch install needed. It allows you to use the factory cameras or any aftermarket camera you'd like

Neighbor and I both have 2020 OR. Mine has MTM and Birds Eye camera neighbors doesn't. The Anytime Backup camera full kit with front camera works perfect in my neighbors 2020. The ABC in its current config it WILL NOT WORK on 360 camera OEM equipped. I spent a few days on the phone with Brian working on it. Im sure if he had the time to devote to a solution he would solve it but for now it doesnt work. The NAV override does work just fine.

Easier to replace the camera module (Parking Assist ECU) separate from the Head Unit, which just displays the views selected.

Yeah, the cameras on this truck are very low quality. My wife's Subaru looks SO much clearer.

I've built a handful of anytime kits for the 2019 head units and want to build a plug and play kit for my partner's 2020 4Runner. From what I understand the 2020 Taco and Runner share the same plugs. If it's straightforward I could hand-out a couple to people here at-cost. If I were to build one for the non-panoramic 2020 Caribe which plug am I looking at and which pin is the reverse-sensing?
