no, it auto zeros every time u save the setting. So when I first went in, I moved it up 32 and saved. Next time I went in, it was set to 0 but it was maxed out.

Other than the camera adjustment issue, was everything else plug and play using factory OEM parts? I saw a few videos that even with the factory TRD Pro grill, the camera bracket was a little different?

Have you tried the *New Camera* option?

Did anyone even come to any conclusion on this subject other than the cameras are different? The misalignment is bearable but my OCD wants to fix this. Paying for the trd pro front camera doesn't sound fun but sounds like it may be the only solution.

    2 year update.
I’ve lived with the skewed view. Not ideal. Had I known this, I would have gotten a pre 2020 pro grill and modded it to the same camera level as the off-road. I’ve been to dealer and they said over $700 to upload the pro version program to see if that changes the camera view.
If anybody knows of another thread that addresses this issue, please link. Thanks for all your help guys.

Thanks for this. I actually work at a Toyota dealership and no one really seems to have definitive answers for this. After much research and talking to techs/parts salesmen, I've come to the same probable conclusion as someone else in this thread. Since there are different part numbers for the two cameras, they are likely different cameras with different lenses and focal lengths.

Hey guys wanted to jump in. So I had the same issue, put a pro grill on and didn't like how the off-road camera was off. So I bought a pro camera ($200 on sale) and unfortunately it didn't fix anything :(.

So I am guessing you need BOTH a new camera and the software which is a major bummer.

@yshin80 All of this is probably moot, but while I can get to the menu the camera settings are greyed out. I should take that as a sign to just leave well enough alone but any ideas?

Thankfully I was able to return it for a full refund lol. But at least we got an answer to if that would have worked.

FWIW, I was using the "Hold Audio Button While Switching Headlights Between Auto And Off Three Times" maneuver while in Accessory mode to access the hidden menu and had the issue above. Turns out that if you then put the car in Ignition On mode (but don't start it), all the options under Function/Check Settings menu become available.

Also - should have simply followed posts #6 & #15.

    Happy New Year.
