I'm not a doctor so I cannot opine on that issue. However I am a driver and I definitely don't want people who can't see with stock headlights driving on the same road as me.

I’m not a moderator; however, I am a member. I definitely don’t want people who are jerks to new members on the same board as me.

True... Hit 65 years old and drove my new truck for the first time the other night, AT night. I can still do it, but would rather not do it.
If I were in The City with everything being lit up with street lights, it would be easy. But I'm in the middle of NO-where nowhere, and the closest street light is 40 miles away. Pitch black.
I was interested to see how well the factory lights on my new truck worked. They were ... Mmmmm ... Passable. I hoped they would be better.
The low beams were .. OK, but I don't like that there is a cut-off of the light, like someone put some duct-tape on the top of the lenses.
There seemed like there was a definite cut-off point where there was light below, and nothing above that. Not all that good with deer jumping out at any time.
The Hi-Beams though ... They lit everything up like a football stadium. So no complains there.

I know man, I feel the same way. My wife is 63 and has always had problems at night and as she got older they are at a point where she does not feel safe to drive. I drive her if needed.
The other night a deer ran in front of us and I said "Wow, that was close!" And my wife, sitting there looking out the windshield, said "Close to what?" Again, glad I can still see.

Lol that post was not even clever. If you read my posts, I follow my own advice and address the post not the poster. Again, if you can't see don't drive. That goes for anyone including me.
