I recently purchased a new Tacoma SX and want to install fog lights with OEM parts. If anyone has any of the following parts lying around (lightly used is preferred) please send me a PM.

    2 OEM Fog Lights
Right and Left fog lamp cover
    Engine Bay wiring harness
    Turn Signal Stalk

If you don't have to be O.e.m. you can get an aftermarket set off ebay for 50.00. Complete kit. It has a switch that fills one of the blanks in the console on the lower left side. No messing with the steering column , relatively easy to install.

HEY Devon.... I just got this kit from Amazon for $88.00 CDN... Its got the outside bezels as well.

    https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07G9HRWN4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Does a switch and by passes all Toyota's rules like.....No fog with high beams..... Looks real quality.

All the wiring and switch............looks easy to install..

    JOhn............Good luck

I am looking to just stick with OEM, in my past experience aftermarket parts usually work well for about 6 months to a year and then problems start to arise. I appreciate the input though guys!

Yep, that's the same one I got off ebay. I got one for my 2019 last year (son has that truck) it's still working fine. There is a you tube video on the install , the hardest part for me on both installs was getting the wire thru the firewall.

If your truck did not come with the lights, you likely don't have the wiring installed.

Like the relay and the fuse in the under hood and the switch in the stock....and the switch on the stem

May be a pain in the ass trying to go OEM..... I already have all that......Just replacing the bulbs and the housing unit around the light.

    Good luck.

My dad actually did the same upgrade on his 2020 SR. Doesn’t need the relay, just the harness. He went all OEM and the truck looks really good. Check out 2k2 on the forum for pics

    OP: I'm sure you've seen this? https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/nitoris-oem-sr-foglight-mod.451495/

You will need to determine if you are wired for it or not, and will need a relay (and possibly other parts). Also, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I doubt many people are getting rid of the stalk switch or engine harness. You'll most likely have to go to a junk yard or buy it new. The fog lights themselves you'll probably have luck with.

Do the 2020's have the relay installed already?

This if you want oem fog lights. Advantages of oem are the fog light symbol on the dash illuminates when you have the fogs on, and your fog lights shut off when you turn your high beams on (I read in some thread some state laws require that).
You can usually find oem fog lights for sale in the 3rd gen marketplace, I recommend the H11 55W fogs instead of the H16 19W fog light housings so check.

Yeah, definitely planned on purchasing the stalk from Toyota simply because I would prefer to roll with brand new stuff on the interior, however after looking under the hood, I have the fuse already and the install should go smooth without relay. I have one leftover at the house from when my dad did his just for good measure however

I’ll have the OEM fogs this weekend available. Swapping them out with the BD SAE Amber kit I just picked up. You’ll need to get the wiring and housing though as I am using it.

That would be awesome. Are they 19W or 55W?

Also, are those SCS Ray10s on your truck? I planned to purchase either the f5 or ray10. My dad put 16x8 3.5”bs -25mm f5s on his 2020 and they were plug and play, however I don’t know of anyone with the ray10. What are your specs? Did you have to make any modifications to fit them on?

Follow up to the install..... This is a nice quality product,....HOWEVER... The Unit that I needed to replace the OEM ones... The bulb housing itself) does not fit properly....The glass front does not come forward enough (1/4"--3/8") to tough the bezel.

This leaves me a big hole for water and shit to come in there.....not like before.

Not a good product..... (turn this thumb down)...:eek::eek:

Here is how bad the fit is... That's 3/8" gap .

Thanx, but I just installed new ones. I'll check out the new bezels I got, to see if they fit right.

    Thanx
