    Seems the shark fin antenna is further back on the 2021. Will be installing the oem roof rack on my 2021 this weekend. Let’s see how it fits.

    Why are people posting about their 2021's here? This issue ONLY affects 2020's produced at the beginning of the production run, like mine. If you have a 2021 you're golden.

    before anyone comes down on me for not comparing my picture to the 2021 a few posts up (which seems obvious)... according to this thread Toyota has moved these things around like they’re playing Musical Chairs, so I’m not sure if that’s a fair comparison

    I’m not sure, but that does appear to be forward of where my antenna is on my 2021. You have a legitimate concern.

    For those that were able to install the oem rack, what’s the measurement from the back of the top rear corner of the cab to the back of the bar when it’s deployed? Something like this:

    I am 100% on the 2020 engineering mistake train!

    So I take it everyone is still SOL for this issue? I’m thinking about getting the Hooke Road rack (like prinsu but $320) and see how bad the noise is.

    Have you seen the low profile antenna that you can replace the shark fin antenna with? I believe it will allow you to use the oem rack.

    That looks like something that might solve my problem. The web site says it only applies to 2016-2019 though.

    Even if it does work for 2020, while they have every right to charge whatever they want for their product, $240 is pretty steep. Buying that fix doubles the price of the rack for me.

    I Purchased one of those flat fins when I purchased my upTop rack. I thought maybe they just didn’t update the website to say 2020. My mistake.... the 2020 antenna has different internals and doesn’t work with their flat fin. They were totally cool and refunded me The full price when I sent it back.
