Quick review and feedback on Grant’s bracket here: In short, I had the bracket within a week of ordering it. He shipped right away and no problems with payment.

In my case, I have a Limited trim model and wanted to go with the TRD Off-Road style grille.

So I was looking for a bracket that would go on a used TRD off-road grille. The bracket, I think, is interchangeable with the TRD Pro grille but is different than the ones used on the Limited grille, which mount horizontally rather than vertically.

So, for anyone wondering, Grant’s bracket works great on TRD off-road grilles - please see the pictures below.

Grant, awesome work and thanks for helping us all out!

One additional note, I think that the camera cover on the Limited is also different than the other models and therefore doesn’t fit right into this bracket, which I believe is designed more for the TRD pro grilles.

I’m gonna try and modify the camera cover a little bit and stick it on there with some 3M tape and will report back soon on how that looks and works.

The camera looks fine without the cover and I would assume there is no problem to run it without the cover for a while.

The bracket you need is a little different than that one. The exact part number to order is PT595-35210. It listed as 'Taco Suskit Bracket' but it is the correct bracket. Its inexpensive

I have a 2020 OR with an Amazon TRD pro grill and TSS garnish. I dont have a camera mount in my grill. I just purchased the anytime camera kit with the premium camera which some people drill a hole right above the TSS sensor to mount it.

My question is... rather than drill a hole, can I use the mount mentioned above? PT595-35210??

BIGWORM, the only issue is that you still need to create the space to fit the whole bracket & camera. My guess is that if you tinker with it, you may be able to 'make space' for it, and use a Dremel or something to make the screw holes to attach the bracket... I just don't see how you get around not cutting some plastic...
itswhitneyman did that and he seems happy... check his post. Good luck with your project and post pics if you do it!

I was digging around as well to what options there were for mounting and it really did just lead back to putting above the TSS. Not many options without significant trimming and felt a simple hole was the easiest. I do like the location since it blends well into the grill.

Im going to do the same thing. It looks fine there to me. I just wanted to make sure I knew about all (if any) options I had with my Amazon trd pro grill and the premium camera from the anything backup camera kit.

I installed a trd pro grille(oem) with camera mount, only to find out that the camera bracket is different from a trd offroad grille. Just want to double check if this is the exact bracket for the trd pro?TIA

Didn’t want to bump an old thread but I figured this was the best I could do.

just got my OEM grill. need a bracket.

I also had a question about the wiring harness that connects the camera and tss sensor. The one that comes in the TRD off road, is it long enough? It looks as if the sensor and the camera on the pro grill has a little more space between the two in comparison to the off-road emblem and camera

I’m in the same boat, bought an OEM Grille, OEM Garnish, and Westcott bracket which *mostly* works but isn’t perfect. I think I may have gotten a Friday bracket. After a little bending and shimming with a washer it’s 95% but I’m getting the OEM one, I mean $2.50 and you know it’s gonna be correctly made…it’s a no brainer. But yeah the wires end up pulled tight OR you orphan one of the wire clips.

If you look at the TRD off-road lift kit among the things it comes with, the grille, garnish, etc is a new wiring harness that’s designed to work with the heritage blacked out grille. I basically got that all black grille from the lift kit and would like to get the wiring harness if it’s not insanely expensive. This bracket is in fact from that kit…

    HI Guys

I want to ask for your help. I bought the TRD pro grill ( still don't know if they will request a vin since I bought it from toyotapartsdeals.com) and I see that it already has the camera hole. My 2021 TRD off road comes with the camera but in looking at the back of the grill i see the positions on the holes are different from the OEM bracket on mine.

my bracket looks like the below
    upload_2023-11-29_8-25-19.png

This is the grill i bought

    upload_2023-11-29_8-26-7.png

looks from behind where the bracket goes

    upload_2023-11-29_8-26-26.png

Will the OEM bracket from my TRD OFFROAD fit the TRD PRO OEM grill?

What is throwing me off is where to screw my bracket on the new TRD Pro grill

    upload_2023-11-29_8-24-17.png

I would appreciate your thoughts on this

    You want the following…

86799 - 04020 (this is the harness from the suspension kit, it’s optional but the wiring is gorgeous like OEM. If you reuse your stock harness it’s screwy and will be pulled in a way the wires are visible from the front…gross. It costs about $40-45 and worth every penny to do the job right.

PT595-35210 (this is the bracket, you will remove your camera from the original bracket and put it on this. It legit costs all of like $3-4 and you’ll be golden)

here’s the camera bracket $1.78, call a dealer about the harness, I bought and installed it works perfect just like the bracket.
