    Hey all, newbie here too!

@KStrassel and @averagejp wondering if you ended up changing to the OEM Pro Grill? If so, how did it work out? Were you able to get your hands on it easily? Seems like sellers are clamping down without Pro VIN #s.....

I looked up PT228-35180, which lists 2018 - 2019. Anyone know if it fits the 2020?

    Thanks!

    No problem. Happy to help.

I reached out to two Toyota dealers for the parts and it was not an issue to order at all ... none of them even asked ... they only wanted to make sure I had the right parts. But that was a month or so I don't know if the situation has changed.

After some thought, I decided not to change it for a few reasons. First, I kind of like the grill on the 2020 better. Second, I decided everyone seemed to be doing it and I am not sure it looks that much better. I also didn't want to mess around with the sensor in front. But I think the deciding favor for me is that I typically don't change things on the truck that are for design purposes only. If I change something it has to be for a reason. Granted, I want those additions to look as good as possible but in the end, for me, I felt like it was a change for the sake of change. But that's just me ...

Hope that helps ... try BAM Wholesale Parts ... And best of luck to you !

I think it’s funny people talk so much shit on here about how pro grills are so played out, as if all of our trucks don’t have a 1000 other things in common. I think the little square ditch lights everyone puts on the corners of their windshield these days are bro AF, lol.

Now its “cool to be different” by using another stock grill because everyone has a Pro grill. As if they don’t look like every other stock sr5/or.

If someone likes the sr5/or grills, they’re lucking out because they can get it dirt cheap from take offs. People need to let others choose whatever grill they want and stop complaining.
