2021 Lower Dashboard Modification?

    JB Grand Raid Evo XXL mounted on an Alu-Cab. 5.29 gears.
    I think the supplied cable is 1M, it is terminated with RJ45 and I assume that it's a straight through connection but didn't buzz it out.

    I mounted mine behind the left switch panel on the far left side. On the piece of plastic that also touches the door. If that makes sense. Fits snug in there. Just used a little foam tape.

    I think the manual actually mentioned it being an ethernet cable (although the connection is NOT ethernet). So that very well might work. At the least, you could crimp up a custom cable with normal RJ45 gear.

    Being in IT I'm pretty sure it's ethernet cable. Mine I think was about 3 feet or a meter long. Mine had an angle connector on one end. I'm sure it's just using the 8 pins and it's not actually ethernet. I don't see why you couldn't make something longer or shorter if you want.
    I seen some video on YouTube where some Aussie was installing the control box in the rear cargo area of a UTE and using a long cat5 cable to connect at the dash.
