Damn, I haven’t even looked at that blue crush thread much yet. That color is nice! My 2016 was the blazing blue which I still think it’s one of the better colors they made.
Yeah, just bring what you want and they’ll find one in the pipeline that matches it. Toyota doesn’t do custom orders but they can find one that will be made and they’ll get it to you. I would call every dealer that you’d be willing to travel to and pit them against each other to see if you can get something off MSRP. Seems like that’s becoming a possibility.

 

When the dealer tells you that you need to come into the dealership, tell them you’re afraid of Covid and can’t do that. Get the buyers sheet in writing and show that to another dealer and ask them if they’ll beat it.

Yeah, they get us with the yearly property tax but pretty sure we still make out better overall. Certainly nice to not have that hit up front.

The dealer was in Auburn, they said they gave me a discount off a bunch of fees and on the Cilajet. One person said it was the first time they gave a discount since COVID. Now I got two numbers from them, one person said I got $1100 off and the other said $965. My first new car ever, I wish I had someone there who knew the process...I love the truck, saw OR's going for about the same price 200 miles away so feel like I got what is standard in CA for this model.

$565 is actually not too bad for tint and floor mats assuming those are things that you wanted anyway. Over priced, but not too terrible considering they took 1000 off the price.

Some of you are listing 6MT??? I looked within 250 miles in Kali, couldn't find. I asked sales if buying a spot was an option, he said no. I asked, he said he has never seen 6MT Taco at his dealership

 

$6200 for the warranty?

 

3 warranties total, with Costco discount. I was quietly shaking my head no, but the wife wanted to perform this whole transaction. Something about being the zero after the decimal point.
