You should have bought the synthetic. The standard stuff just gums up your wiring.

 

In January I was shopping for either a new or a not-too-used 2020 to 2023 Access cab with a manual transmission and I found Autotrader to have the best search function. I live in Northern Virginia and I set the search radius on 500 miles, and ended up finding a good certified used, off-lease 2021 with ~16k miles about 250 miles from home.

When I was searching on autotrader, there were 11 4wd manual transmission access cabs with under 40k miles in a 500 mile radius. Of course had I narrowed it to just new trucks, there would have been even fewer. I think if one wants a manual, they will likely have to be prepared to travel to get it...

I had been searching Q4 2022 and no dealership would budge from dealer add ons and the toyoguard. Last day of the year a dealer was willing to negotiate all the extra items out, even floor mats, and gave me "below" MSRP. I couldn't get APR below 6% with high 700s in 2022. Thankfully I had to wait until January with January's new rate at 2.9%

I got my 23 TRD OR SB for 500 under MSRP from Walnut Creek in CA. You gotta stand strong as hell if you don’t want to be up sold on all the extra 3rd party warranty shit… they tried soooooooo hard, 2 hours hard. Funny thing is you can buy Toyota care hella cheap after you buy the car.

 

Through Toyota's bank. It switched to 2.75% for February for Tacomas in the South East Market.

 

I got insanely lucky last fall. Was sitting at a red light by the dealership and spotted it. Of course I didn't know it was MT until I wheeled in there. Needless to say I immediately put a deposit down.

Nice! I wanted Wind Chill Pearl, but bought the black because it was available.

 

I went back and forth between Wind Chill Pearl and Black for a while and got lucky and found this one after searching for about a month.
