nothing bigger than a 17 for a truck if its a car then you can go bigger but on trucks it looks too pimp

ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
I take my 4x4 with 285 60 r 18s across the boarder and they run great in the sand! 20s would be a bit much for me but they do look good on some trucks! Just depends on the look you want. But I can tell you my 18s ride real nice and the truck does very good in Baja and in death valley. But I do not go rock climbing in my truck where a 15 inch rim would be the call.

I run 285-50-20's right now and it rides and drives as good as the factory 16's did. In my opinion, buying quality tires is the key to a smooth, quiet ride.

Front (2.75" total): 1.6" Eibach coils, Toytec 0.5" (L) & 0.25" (R) top plate spacers, 5100's @ 0.85", Built Right uniball UCA's, Differential drop, Removed sway bar Rear: TSB springs, Wheeler's 1.5" AAL, 5100's, 2* shims, Carrier bearing drop, F and R Spidertrax, 285/75-16 Goodyear Duratracs, Self-fabbed sliders, rear bumper, and skid plates, Cobra 75 CB, Bed lined slim lo-pro tool box, Bed Extender, Diff breather mod, Two tail gate security mods, Exhaust dumped behind axle, Can't leave shit alone so plenty more coming...
I off road quite a bit so the more sidewall the better. I have 16's and you'd have a hard time even talking me into 17's. Not to mention the tire price jump. I vote 18's. You'll get a little bling, it sounds like that's what you want, yet you'll still have a well-rounded, capable truck.

your right trdboy i want something that looks nice... my truck will never see off road ever. I was worried that wil 20's and towing it might be a problem but i never thought about the size of the tire really makes the difference. You can have 20's with smaller tires and still equal the same as 18's with a larger tire. Sorry I am really new with trucks. I only had cars pretty much.

I run 18's on my street queen and I love them. If I were to go off roading I would definately down size to a 16 or 15.

Pesonally the only 20's I like are the ones in my wallet.

But if you like that look then commit to it, get 20's.

that looks sick! What size tires and offset are those? Is that with your 6" lift? I think I am pretty much sticking with a 3"
