Hopefully you guys can assist...have a question regarding a 3" lift with wheels and tires that are on now. I'd like to do a 3" lift but don't want to spend too much on rims/tires. Presently I have 20's.... Can I use these rims? If so, what size tire would I need to buy to fill the wheel well without rubbing. Really no off roading here, just a fun toy for my son and I. Thanks all.

A 285/55/20 should be a good size with no or very little rubbing.

Hey guys, thats what I'm running now. Figured with a 3" lift possibly a 60 or 70 series tire... Would the 20's look ghetto? I've seen all the lift son TW w/ 16's/17's with 32" tires and they look great. Would this setup look equally good?

We are going to have it, but not today. Matt (Packerfanxd) had a familly emergency. I started another thread so we can all put our heads together and get a date in which all can attend. :)

While we're on this subject guys. Im ordering a Toytec 3" Monday. I am presently runnin brand new 275/55/r20 Terra Grapplers. Will these be TOO small looking after the 3"? I got them forv X Mas along with my new rims and I really dont want to buy another set, unless of course someone will buy the ones I have. So do you think it will look weird?

Awesome. Thnx Chris. Thats about the last thing I was debating b4 I pull the trigger on the lift. I have actually been told it might make the truck look higher b/c of the smaller tire.

Yep, your tires are a little taller (.4" or so).

I kno its gonna look a little different from ur truck tho cause ur runnin 18s or 17s right? That gives you a little more sidewall tread and makes ur truck look more proportional, if that makes any sense. I'll go a little larger when these wear out to try to achieve that.
