Builder said he uses PLA and using acetone method is not recommended. :pout:
    Just sand-fill-sand, repeat.

So after the sides were glued together and all the seams filled it was time to sand, prime and repeat to smooth out printer lines and seams. After a few cycles I was getting close. Since parts are a little small for a guide coat I used a different color primer to find low spots which you can see it this pic.
    20191015_104350.jpg
Then a semi final coat. After complete assembly I will fix any scratches, wet sand then paint. Took a bit of work but turned out pretty good IMO. :notsure:

Hopefully I can get most of the bed assembly done this weekend.

Hopefully I can get the bed assembled today. Started out working on bedrack. Lots of printer slag, if that's what it's called, in all the holes. Cleaned them all out using a small step drill. Didn't want to go too far using a drill so I just used my fingers to spin it for better control.

Most of the bed and rack are done. Still have some small pieces, lighting and final sand and painting to do.

Me too. Theres a lot of work involved especially with my OCD. This is the easy part. The cab is the difficult part. That's gonna take quite awhile.

Being OCD isn’t a bad thing. If I built one I would want it perfect too. I can’t imagine all the work that goes into the cab. No matter how long it takes it will all be worth it in the end.

This is my first one. Get a hold of Mfab on FB or instagram. He can give you info on having one built.
