Hey all. I'm a new member. I'm trying to figure out if I can put 2022 Tacoma struts and shocks on my 2006 TRD. With the information I've found, they will work but will require "wallowing" out the control arms bigger to get them to fit.

I found struts and shocks on marketplace for sale that come with 2022 upper control arms as well….
Now my new question is, will the 2022 upper control arms work on my 2006, Eliminating the need to modify the stock control arms on my truck right now??

The new shocks don't come with coils so can I use the stock ones with the new??
    Thanks!!

    Jeff

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
3rd gen fits just fine, will level the truck, no need for UCA’s. Coils in 2nd gen are 550lbs and 3rd gen are 710lbs.
