I am thinking of upgrading to Duratracs in the 245/75R16 size. The stock Dunlops have a 109S rating while the C range Duratrac is listed as 108Q on Goodyear's website.

My question is, how does an LT, C range tire have a lower load rating than a P-rated tire of the same size? Would tire shops refuse to mount the C range Duratrac?

they should not have a problem doing the 'c'.its just when you change the size from whats on the door jam is when it gets tricky(liability)for some shops.
