I really don't know another vehicle with the killer reputation that the Toyota pick-up truck has. Come on, the term 'that thing will run forever' doesn't get used on very many other vehicles.
I am on my 3rd Tacoma, and I've pulled 53,000 miles in my first year, and it runs like a Swiss watch. I wouldn't trade it in for nothin' (unless they come out with a Tacoma hybrid like they have been talking about.....)

OP---this is awesome! I bought my '08 with 88k on it and now just turned 103k. Long way to go to catch you but I plan on running mine until retirement (15-19 years). Good to know that I just need to do the maintenance and take care of it. Foolishly, I traded my 4runner with 189k bc I was nervous about the mileage:rolleyes: If only I had known about this site then! Thanks for the inspiration and keep bringing the updates!

I do not have the 20 MPH vibe.

I will be posting an update thread soon.

    Thanks.

250,000 miles(400,000 km's) is an awesome milestone. It's threads like this that make me glad that I got a Toyota.
