question? do the line that show up on your camera tell you how far you are from an object? I could really use a camera now that I have a shell, thanks

That looks great, and sounds like a great deal.
My Kenwood double din unit was over $600 but it does have the built in Garmin GPS. I like that your camera shows lines in the display.
I got a Boyo Camera with mine, looks great as it is part of the license plate frame and is very discreet, the night vision is also excellent but it takes a bit of getting used to without the lines for reference.

You need to sync the phone with the deck on the first time only, it takes about 2 minutes. After that, the phone will auto sync everytime you get into the truck. Once it's sync'd, you just go on your phone and play what ever it is on the phone you want to listen to, be it a movie, youtube video, song from your library or any other program like Pandora and it will play over you speakers. Then you can control the volume with the deck volume and use the screen on the deck to stop, pause, ff or rewind the song!

    I'm sure you'll like it!

    Thank you!

The lines are useful, but you need to use your own measument. I used a shoe to guage how far out the lines actually are. Just turn on the camera and set your shoe a few feet out from the rear bumper and you can kinda figure out about how far out each line is!

Thanks, yea I'm still getting used to using my camera. I'm still second guessing and turning to look over my shoulder!

    Just bought it!
that sounds great! I'm gonna wire in the aux input to my stock stereo for now, and was gonna mount a flush 3.5mm input down by the cigarette lighter, but seeing this makes me think that maybe I should just run the cable somewhere inconspicuous and not drill any holes. It'd be nice to get something like this someday, and then I won't have to deal with any holes that have been drilled anywhere.

Build in GPS would definitely be more useful than a DVD player, but I guess it doesn't hurt to be able to listen to Joe Dirt while you're cruising around haha.

Wow, $401 shipped, no tax! And it's got good reviews out of 22 reviewers, mostly all positive. Now this is tempting, and I wasn't even considering an aftermarket unit. But with the versatility of this unit, its a great add-on for the price and not much more than a stand alone GPS unit.
