.... highly recommend a spare. These tires are significantly taller than a stock tire

Anyone else have trouble balancing these things. The mechanic at the toyota dealership said these were "unbalancable" and that they were made for "farm trucks" and not made to ride on the road......... Needless to say i did not pay this man and brought it to someone else. They were able to balance them but i am still getting some vibrations at higher speeds. Suggestions?

You can flip it the other way around like this and still have bed space

My 265/70 is already butted up hard to my plate bumper. Will have to take a look under there soon.

There are two tabs that need to be trimmed. Took less than a minute with a sawsall. Snug fit but for me keeps the bed clear.
I just saw a BAMF bed rack for sale a few days ago on the 2nd gen marketplace by ArmyOfSquirrels if you want to go that route.

I have a first gen automatic and when I had the 255/85 cooper st's I noticed a slight loss in power and lost about 1mpg. Nothing to bad for me but I'm sure the 5 speed is a little better.

I went from 265/75R16 Firestone Destination AT to 255/85R16 KM2. I only really notice a loss of power on hills. Not a huge deal, just have to downshift sometimes where previously I didn't. MPG stayed the same, if not went up slightly.

I anyone running this size tire on stock suspension? Does it fit? I blew up a tire today (must have hit a nail or something and tore a decent hole) and was going to upgrade to these tires after I got a lift, but it would make sense to do it now instead of buying a new set of tires now and another set in 6 months.

Toyo's are out of my price range, but KM2's and discovere maxx st's are in it... If I can find somewhere in Canada that has them in stock.

Are the KM2's reasonably quiet? I currently have Michelin LTX MS's and they are incredibly noisy and the first thing people comment on when they ride in the truck.

Keep the km2's rotated and they're pretty quiet. They do get louder with wear though.
