Sorry I don't have any tires for you.

The difference between the two is about 1" in overall diameter i.e. the 265/70/17 are bigger.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
yup...so look to get about 1/2" height out of them. i'm planning on going w/ the 255/75/17's which are 32x10...so about .4" more narrow than the stocks and 1.4" taller. we'll see how they fit on the stocks in the spring, unless i can scrounge up some more money before then for rims

I put 265/70/17's on my truck, you can check the member gallery for pictures of my truck with them on, pretty high res, but no close ups of just the tires.

I just found out something here, and I woul like to know if someone knows something about these, I was looking at the BF Goodrich specifications, and on the 265/70/17 All Terrain, they say that the wheel width that will fit in that tire is from 7-8.5".

So my question is, does someone knows if I can put my 17x9 wheel in that tire??? This is just getting too complicated!!

I hope you guys can help me find out these!!

    Thanks.

Check my link in my sig, It'll show a 265/70/17 with a rim width of 7-8.5" on a 9" wheel.

I did with no problems, moved up to a 285 now. The 265 will look more straight up on a 9" wide wheel = []. The 285s look more like this ( ), thats from tire bead to tread. I hope thats not confusing.

Sorry to keep asking, but I am a litle bit confused right now!!!

Because I've found out that some 265/70/17 Tires that can fit a 17x9 wheel, like the goodyear, but like I said in the specs of BF Goodrich it is noted that the wheel width for that tire should be between 7-8.5", I dont get it, how if the tire is the same size they are some brands that can fit a wider wheel!!!

I am going crazy abut all this stuff!!!

Every tire company has different specs on there tire size, one companies 33x12.50 might be bigger or smaller than anothers. Kind of like shoes I wear 10.5s in NIKE and 10s in NB.
