Update: I decided to take them back to discount tire this morning. They rubbed more than I liked. I had put about 30 miles on them checking them out. Discount was great, they took them off and put back on my old tires. And gave me 100% credit for new tires. I ordered 265/70/16 bfgoodrich T/A KO's, the old design. Was interesting, the salesman had a hard time finding that size in the old design. Finally found a set in Dallas and I live in Colorado. He didn't know why they were so hard to find right now.

Was really disappointed that the 265/75/16's K02's rubbed. They looked great, where cheaper than the 265/70/16, got a little extra clearance and where 8 plys.

Mine is a 2015. I plan to do a small lift that will hopefully correct the problem.

Are those TRD wheels actually beadlock or are they just styled that way?

Hello first time commenting, so this goes out to ( seniorspan) what was the outcome of buying that tire size? I bought new bilstein shocks in hopes of lifting my 13 tacoma 2 inches , but since then my wifes mother has moved in with us and she has hard enough trouble getting in my tacoma now with her bad hip,( truck currently has 265/70r16. I'd love to add some mud terrain tires 265/75r16 and a pelfrey built high clearance bumper WITHOUT a suspension lift, anyone know if i will get rubbing? 265/75r16 comes out to a 31'' inch tire diameter , which if I'm not mistaken is just one inch bigger then what the stock tacoma comes with. i will be putting the tires on toyotas faux bead lock rims . thanks in advance for any replies and advice

Great thread! Old but very informative on a specific tire size. I did notice a lot of taco owner just like me want to keep the "standard" look! You know no crazy lifts and all that! Just beefing up the OEM look! I do want the 265/75 r16 on 6x8 wheels -5mm offset my truck is a 13 tacoma sr5 package not too tall as the trd but not as low as the basic 2wd tacos some guys here say they will fit! just remove the front mud flaps other say they will rub and lifting will be need. So I'm gonna try I guess is the only way to find out!

Really needing opinions on this. I'm getting a 2" tuff country lift and thinking about 265's but I wanna fit the biggest tire I possibly can without trimming or spacers!!lol. Looking forward to the opinions!

265/75/16 or 265/70/17 depending on wheel diameter.

Removed the mud flaps when they installed tires. I don't know if they would have rubbed, they told me at discount tire that they would.

Tires do not rub no matter what I do, stock suspension

Has any one run 265/75/16 GF Goodrich KO2s with stock suspention and wheels and if so was there any rubbing? I don't have flaps on. My Stock Dunlops have failed 6 times with only 25k miles :/

I also look at doing a 2-3 inch lift later.
