I don't have BFGs. But I put 265/75r16 Copper Discoverer RTXs on my stock 4x4 suspension and it hasn't rubbed once for me. Not sure how much bulkier the KO2s are, but my RTXs are pretty meaty for an AT tire.

Also, I know I've read posts saying that they're running 265/70r17 KO2s on stock suspension. And those are the same size as the 265/75r16s.

Installed Cooper Discoverer ATW 265/75r16 and don't have any rub. The mileage is about the same as well. No noticeable power loss and hopefully these things will be bomber for winter road trips.1029219426641027373-account_id=1.jpg

Here's my 2017 TRD Off Road...totally stock suspension, with Toyo MT's 265/75/R16. If you notice in the photos, no cutting needed, mud flaps did not have to come off and no rubbing either.

I know this might be a little late now but Did you remove your mud flaps? I just put the ko2's (265/75/16)on my truck and have no rubbing issues?

Does anyone know if the stock 6 lug steel wheel will fit with these 265/75r16's. (Can get these for pretty cheap)

I currently have the 17's that come with the sport but rather have a wider tire. Read the 265/70r17 fits and is just as tall (31") but one inch narrower (10") than the 265/75r16 (31x11), and there's no width equivalent for 17s without going an inch taller which wouldn't fit.

Hi everyone I just joined the community. I wanted to let you all know that this thread really helped me in my decision making process for what tires to put on my 08 Tacoma SR5. I went with the LT265/75R16 Duratrac, and so far I could not be happier with them. No rubbing whatsoever.

I was thinking about replacing my stock Rugged Trail 265/70r16 with 265/75r16. It sounds like some tires rub and some don't. If the All-Terrain KO2 rubs, do you think the Rugged Trail will rub too?

I have a 2017 DCLB and have 265/75/16 Toyo MT's on mine...no rubbing at all.

I believe that the KO2s rub because they have the most aggressive shoulder/sidewall compared to many of the tire options every one is discussing.

I've got some KO2s and some rugged terrains in my shop right now both are P265/70R17. The tread depth (TD) at the shoulder/sidewall on the ko2 is 15/32 of an inch, and on the Rugged Terrain it's 11/32. This is most likely the cause of the rubbing issue people are experiencing

@Law950 You sir have a beautiful truck. I ordered the exact same build white DCLB OR4x4 with the full blown premium package and roof racks. Can't wait for her to arrive. First mod will be straight to the discount tire to get my cooper stt pros mounted. Same wheel size too 265/70/16's. Thanks for confirming what I was already set on getting.

Anyone here have wheels with a -20 offset wrapped with 265/75/16 KO2? If so, please post pictures! I know the safer route is +0 offset, but I'm trying to avoid rub and don't know if -20 offset will bypass rubbing.

If you have any knowledge on this set up please fill me in! Thank you!

I just put a set of 265/75 r16 on my truck the rims are 16x10 with -44 offset. kinda out there but after removing the mud flaps in front and a slight 1inch by 1 inch fender trim it fits just fine no rubs. tacoma has a 3 inch lift up front .
