I've heard a lot of both sides on fitting these to a stock Tacoma and wanted to ask the question myself. I just bought a 2010 sr5 and want to make it aggressive with wheels and tires but don't plan on lifting the truck.

What do I need to do to make sure that tire size doesn't rub? What's the wheel/tire combo and offset I'd need? I'd prefer not to trim anything which is why I'm going with that over 285's.

    Anyone done this before?

I run a 3” rough country lift, I could run 285/75/16. No issues

265/70/17 or 265/75/16 is all youre going to get without rubbing, but may still have some depending on tire choice. With a 265/70/17 on FN FX pro wheels, i had rub on the mud flaps and the fender liner. Removed the flaps and trimmed the liner.

i ran 275/70/17 bfg all terrains with no lift for a little but you'll rub a little so i did the cmc and just cut wherever else i needed to!! then before i bought kings i ran bilstein 5100s (because they were cheap and temporary) with an inch or two of lift so i wouldn't beat the wheel well/core support as much when i stuffed the front end.
