hi guys, I have 285/75/16 on my truck with a lift now. I have a deposit on my current taco and im switching to a double cab. The buyer is allowing me to keep my procomps and the 285/75/16 if i put the stock wheels and tires off the DC on it. my question is will the 285/75/16 be driveable at all on stock suspension on the DC for a few days until i lift the truck? obviously there will be rubbing but can the vehicle be driven for a few days as is?

    THANK YOU

No sharp turns, remove mud flaps during tire swap.

so you think if I take the mud flaps off and don’t make any extreme turns, the truck will be useable for short uses for a few days?

    (Edit)Depending on your backspacing...

Based on my experience you should be more or less okay BUT you will rub frame while turning and you will rub the cab at the bottom of the wheel well when turning and traveling the suspension . I think you should be okay with the uca..

Are the wheels 8" wide? What is their backspacing?

They barely work, they are fine in a straight line but it’s quite embarrassing cutting the wheel either way.

The problem isn’t installing the lift, it’s finding time to install it. I have to wait until the weekend.
