285's with mudflaps

    Is there any lift like OME or anything else that can be done to run 285/17's and keep mudflaps on.I trimmed mine and like the way they look and keeping rocks off my new truck.All the pics I've seen on here everybody takes them off.

    the offset and size of your rims have more to do with rubbing than your type of lift will. Someone on here posted pictures of how he trimmed his mudflaps to avoid rubbing with his setup. Search around and you should be able to find it. I can't remember what is was titled off the top of my head.

    Yeah I had to take mine off. I am running 285/65-18"s. But I've seen some other Tacomas with the same tire size that have them on.:rolleyes:

    i have the billy's at 2.5 with 285/70/17 KM2's and they dont touch my mudflaps...so it can be done.
