Can you elaborate on how you got the body functions to work? Like the A/C, Radio, Instrument Cluster, SRS, Taillights, etc.

I see what you are saying. Thanks for the feedback. I'll go back and clean it up.

Hahaha hoping to get tires and all the coilovers soon.

Body harness in the Tacoma is conveniently separate from the engine harness. For the sake of saving time and leaving it to the experts I had Tweak'd performance build me the adapter harness so I can retain AC, Instrument Cluster etc via the body plug above the glove box. Cruise control was aftermarket and was just a matter of making a new bracket and cable.

So you have a jumper harness that converts the body harness to what, what computer controls that stuff?

Did you keep SRS? Power doors?

The main reason I had the harness made was because I imported a JDM 2JZGTE and wanted it to be USDM Spec (EGR, OBDII, MAF, 550cc Injectors all of which JDM doesn't have) with the added convenience of being able to simply plug it in to the main connector above the glove box. Plus they consolidated the R150F transmission connectors in the harness.

Body harness is unaltered. 4x4 is simple because it is a separate system and doesn't require modification. No other functions were modified so yes airbags, power locks, power windows, etc still work. Those are not a part of the engine harness.

So computer wise, you have the Tacoma ECU controlling it or the Supra ECU controlling it?

Also, why did you opt to keep EGR? I’d like to do this swap one day but being in California it would have to be emissions compliant.

So you’re using a USDM Supra ECU?

Why do you have to be emissions compliant? Is that why you kept EGR?

Sorry for all the questions haha

    IRCC $1200 a while back

Much appreciated! It helps to have support from the toyota community.

I may or may not have been searching for an excuse deep down inside. However, given that I was able to produce 316hp/405ftlbs (at the wheels) on a small single and a factory ecu/fueling, snorkel, etc. I was cognizant of the fact that compound turbos would put the toyota axles in the grave. The R150F is pretty stout, but we shall see....

The EFR 7064 in single would start to build boost at 2k rpm and would achieve 20psi by 3k rpm but would fall off to ~10 psi at 6800rpm redline. The logic behind my decision to go compound is to maintain the amazing low/mid range I had with the single while holding the boost and torque curve all the way to a new 7200-7500rom redline.
