    These are made to order (probably in China). This is a pretty typical practice. When I ordered mine it came in about a week.

    It's hard to say for sure in any given case but a lot of times things coming from China get labeled there and consolidated into larger shipments to save on shipping cost of individual pieces. Once they get to the US the already labeled packages, are broken out of the larger package and shipped within the US.

    Agreed. I also found that some sellers of light stuff will do e-packets that go via air depending.

    In the past, I had good experiences with Asian sellers and shipping. A couple years back, I had a big struggle with stuff getting through customs via the USPS. Just some small parts coming out of the UK.

    It's no secret. They pay little to no shipping. The government subsidizes it.

    On a side note, i'm really hoping customs doesn't tag me for 25% import duty on these..... That would really suck. It's coming DHL so if there is they will also add on an extortion fee.

    Not knowing the part, I'd assume $0.05 in material, manufacturing, and labor, $1.00 for shipping, and $0.44 pure profit?

    Again typical. Chinese sellers use importers/forwarding services that receive their bulk packages and hand them over to domestic shipping companies. USPS, UPS, DHL, etc....

    Use the US address which is verified. My switch from CH4X4 is being shipped to the US address and this give me a reason to ride to the border to pick it up. :bikewheelie2:
