Thanks, I'm in the third group and didn't expect a shipping notice so soon. I thought my wife had ordered something.

For you first installers, it is possible that you might have hardware before the OP gets revised instructions prepared... (just guessing here, so I might be wrong.)

Therefore I suggest reading up on the original mod instructions for RH dash disassembly. (Just ignore the wire cutting part...)

I also recommend researching how to get to location you are putting the switch, be it center console, LH cubby, overhead, etc. to run wires to.

Also, review how to engage and disengage 2Lo, and the failure modes when you deviate from sequence... (it will happen and you will throw a code, but nothing has been hurt on any of our trucks yet that I am aware of)

Finally, figure out how you are going to do installation check-out tests. (Jack front wheels, or drive around block, etc).

Yes, this. Also, don't be forcing any connectors together. If they are properly aligned they will go together with only moderate force. I am going to try and get the instructions updated this weekend after everything has shipped.

    ***Disclaimer***
    (also in the 1st post)

Do not use a knife or razor to open the USPS box. You may cut the wire harness and damage it. I can not take responsibility for wire harnesses that have been damaged in this way. The boxes are perforated and fairly easy to tear open.

No complaints, but it is usually another day or two since it was in the system yesterday afternoon.

Although, there is a guy in Pensacola that I buy some bike maint stuff from. He'd ship stuff USPS and it would get way up here in a day or two also. It was weird.

I’ve got an extra 2WD tall Toyota switch if anyone needs one (ended up going with smaller ones). Selling the switch (far right in the pic) plus the 3 switch plate that replaces the cubby left of steering wheel.

$20 shipped for the one switch and the plate.

I’ve got a few other switches for sale cheap, (2 tall and 2 rocker) too if anyone needs them.

I ship a bunch at a time, and nearly every single time the CA packages are 2-day. Midwest and New England in the same lot will be 3-day though ... so weird.

Agreed! Stuff going to / coming from the middle of the country does take longer. I wonder if it has to do with how they manage hubs, connections, and re-sorting to the coasts? On the left and right coasts, domestic stuff is only going one way.

Most likely. It probably has to do with population density too. Less people/less urban means less post offices and hubs. That means packages have to travel further for the "last mile" delivery (after the package leaves the plane) to the local PO.

Alright, I have the 2nd batch packed up and labeled for sending out today. Everyone should have gotten tracking info now.

I double, triple and quadruple checked my list and I believe I have filled all current orders. If you did not receive tracking info please let me know so I can make sure I didn't miss you.
