(Per parts catalogs, for 2015 highlander, think its 84725-0R021, replaces 84725-0R020), but dont hold me to it

That was one of the cheaper prices I found too. They sure are proud of those things...

Exactly. For those who need it, Highlander parts are there instead of Dr Melfi?

OCD can be a curse for sure.

Will the 2LM harness connector fit the OEM switches?

I don't know what connector that OEM switch takes. I would go with no until I can get confirmation. (also replied by PM)

I will see if I can dig up drawings for the 2015 Highlander.

I think I know what that connector *probably* is, but that doesn't help with wiring information. Still looking around.

If anyone does want to go this route PM me. I can make up an pnp adapter to work with the 2LM with or without the OEM illumination connections.

Looks like that switch is momentary and not latched (push on - push off). It isn't going to work for the 2LM harness.

Installed my harness and switch today. Functions exactly as described.

However, the 2lo text on the switch is always lit. The other truck switches only light up when the lights are on. Is this intended, or is the harness slightly off?

Just installed mine today and it works great. One thing I noticed is that the instructions say to turn the 2wd switch off before you move the 4wd selector from 4lo to 4hi then 2hi. I made the mistake and turn the 2wd switch off after moving the 4wd selector to the 2wd position. If you push the 2wd switch quick enough you wont get the error message on the MID.

100% correct. If you are able to turn off the 2LM switch before the ECU times Out, You won't get the error.
