    Folks - this mod is top notch (da bomb) - basically giving you a nice low range of gears with RWD. I had my harness for awhile before installation and after install I said I should have done it sooner.


    Translation - save your clutch!

    Which switch did you get to activate it?

    This is what I miss about my old pathy w manual locker & hubs, I used 2LO all the time and it was great.

    It is 100% possible to source the connectors and build it yourself. Switches are available at CH4x4.com.

    As far as switches go, aironboard has a small switch that matches the oem blue light damn near perfectly.

    Does anybody know a quick wire hack for this mod. Install was super easy, and I went with the AOB 2lo switch. Color match is great, but the lighting scheme doesn’t match stock.

    the lettering is lit constantly, whereas stock switches only light when headlights are on. My switch is currently in the lower console but I plan to move it to the overhead console once I find some rerouting time.

    You can easily have the text and symbol light up only when pressed. I described how to do it a couple pages back.

    Stock illumination could not be done with a single pnp harness due to the various switch locations. I will have a Pnp add on for stock illumination available when the GB list gets filled.

    It's not bad if you're just backing up the truck. But if you have a trailer or especially a trailer on an incline in reverse the tall gear really sucks, you can never let your clutch out. The 2Wd low is awesome.

    Yep, my trailer was maybe only 2000 pounds. I was backing up in a tight driveway on a very small incline and it was terrible. That poor clutch.

    I am interested as long as the PnP illumination issue is worked out, I want everything to look OEM.

    The ultimate would be if someone could figure out how to integrate the 2LO function directly into the 4x4 selector, but I'm guessing that would be a huge undertaking.
