I've only had mine installed for a few weeks and use it much more then I ever anticipated. Best mod for the MT!

 

I use it at least once a week, every time I go to the transfer station. The high bays where you unload are up a fairly steep hill and it makes backing up into the building so much easier.

 

I could but I don't have an address to ship to until new house is ready to move in.. stuck in hotel for another month.

 

What about a PO box or your work?

 

I can ship UPS to a local store or pickup location also.

 

No friends or relatives? Your truck needs this and you're not getting off that easy with this group. lol

I thought I'd share this since I was a little surprised at how wrong I was, I totally underestimated the AT buyers for this mod. Technically the above is not counting 4 MT's I know of who didn't get info into the form so it's not quite as close to 50/50 as the chart implies but it's definitely more 2-1 right now than 3-1. I suppose one might expect that given how hard it is to find MT Tacomas but I really didn't think there was that much interest from the AT crowd for 2Low. Perhaps the ratio will drift if more people ask for cards but probably not by too much if you assume those who have requested a card are a representative sampling of all who have installed the mod.

NOTE: If we run out of AT cards I can certainly have more printed, that part should be easy now.

 

So I never bothered to track this and I'm curious how you came up with the numbers. LOL.

 

Google forms just does it for you automatically, apparently, maybe it's forms 2.0 or something or maybe it's just for any discrete multi-option question?

It's not counting you, BigWhiteTRD, or the first two I sent from DM's, pretty sure all 4 are MT.

 

Sorry, I must have missed where you posted the link. I used google forms for the first round of this deal. Saved me a huge headache collecting info for pre-orders.

 

There was a TW poll thread not that long ago that reflected a similar split. Even though we're 5% of the sales, we're about 50% of the enthusiasts.

Yeah, we're a bit loud about it sometimes.

IMHO, this is why you should produce low volume options. Those folks get the word out more than the general average. Is that effort for the 5% worth it in volume sales? I would say Yes most every time.

 

Yeah, so I think if you just add the transmission question to your existing form, you'll start getting the data aggregated for you automatically?

 

If I was still using it, yeah. Now it's just a Paypal Button. I could add custom fields, but they don't get added to a database or tracked in any way. I would have to log them manually as each order comes in. If I were a huge business doing things I would set up differently, but I have no intention of launching a store/website. I do this stuff in my spare time and help people out. If I were going to go into business I would definitely go about it from a whole different angle.

 

Totally agree.

The majority of MT owners are going to scream from the rooftop that they love their MT Tacoma. The majority of AT (IMHO) wouldn't bother. Honestly, it's the only reason I'm driving this truck and not a full size.
