I thought about just leaving the button connected, in the on position, and secure it to a harness in the dash to keep it out of the way and from rubbing on other wires. I don't see an issue with it.

I think I read somewhere about it getting hot if you leave it on all the time. You could always put a stealth switch under the dash or something I suppose.

I leave mine on all the time and the only time it gets hot is when I'm charging my phone. It heats up the phone so bad that the phone give an audible alert over the truck speakers that its dying.

A few people in one of the rear camera anytime/front camera threads have found a source for a dual switch that fits the short spots. I don’t remember the source, I’ll see if I can find it

It looks like Aliexpress isn't carrying the "small" ones right now either. But. there is at least one person on ebay with them.
    https://www.ebay.com/p/Driving-Push...MIztvajYqx4wIVCrnACh3hzgF5EAQYBiABEgI4tfD_BwE

Edit: His described dimensions are a little off, but it looks like the right one. and it is coming from the same place as the ones I got off Aliexpress.

You have to look at the selling country, if I have a choice and it’s slightly more I’ll buy from a US Seller.

I’ve bought quite a few things from China, usually non electrical since if they don’t work it’s impossible to send back.
