^ I co-sign the above. I have a 3500lb camper and backing up my driveway is not doing any favors to my clutch. The worse was hauling 5500lbs of pavers for my buddy and reversing up his driveway Definitely shortened the life of my clutch that day.

Buddy:What’s that smell?
Me: It’s my clutch!

 

I learned way too late that I need one of these.

Maybe I'll find one used.

Keep an eye on this thread. I just got one last week and installed it. I thought someone else would have seen the post and got it, but I guess not enough were paying attention. I'm actually surprised it was available as long as it was.

I'm for sure looking for one... installed a 6speed from a 2018 and the reverse is way taller than I like! hope you make more ..

 

I guess I don't know what 'soon' means. I just installed this today. Works perfectly after aging in my tool box for 18 months.

 

Not much of a difference than mine being installed for 18 month and never using it!

Still one of the best mods for these trucks!

 

OP says the module is for 2005-2015 tacos in the first post -- has it since been updated or tested with 3rd gens?

 

There was another person making a kit for 3rd gens but I don't think they are anymore either.
I use mine quite often, works great. Too bad it was a limited run, I was lucky enough to get one out of the last batch.
