I made this drawing with Solidworks a few years back when I was working on a camper build for my 3rd gen. Didn't realize until recently that I posted this in 3rd gen while it applies to 2nd gen as well. Hope this helps with your future projects!

This drawing is specifically for a 2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport Access Cab Long Bed. I believe the specs are the same for the 5ft bed as well (width, height ect), given there is 12" taken from the front of the bed. I also believe 2nd and 3rd Gen Tacos have the same composite bed. So this drawing should work for anyone from 2005-present

The measurements should be pretty close on but I'll say +/- 0.5" as a disclaimer.

    Notes:
-Bed Height is measured from the lowest point in the bed (not including the bed surface channels).
-Specs represent inside dimensions of the composite tub, not including bed rails, compartments or tailgate
-Additional dimensions not noted can be derived from existing dimensions noted

Can we assume measurements from the floor of the bed are taken from the top surface of the channels?

    Good point Andrew.

I believe the height is measured from the top of the surface channels...but I did draw this up 2 years ago so I'll double check when I'm off work and update the post.

    Thanks

I just double checked and the 19" measurement is taken from the lowest point in the bed (not including the bed surface channels)

The bed surface channels are about 1/4" tall which makes the bed a depth of 18.75" if you are measuring from the top of the surface channels.

Thanks for posting this! I'm currently planning a camping buildout for a 2nd gen taco soon to be in my possession. Having these dimensions is incredibly helpful!

What are the odds of getting that native CAD file?
