It is much like the kazoo whispering window sills. I always forget to do it or how bad I wanted it until your thirty minutes into a multi-hour road trip.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Can you put a cut out on the sides? I want one of these this but I want TRD cut out on the sides so my regular paint shows through. Opposite of this

its a matte black per the manufacturer. I can do a gloss but that might defeat the purpose.

the hood scoop on the 05-11 is way longer than the 2012+ so there is no "short" version for that one :)

How much for the shorty? Will it hold up through a car wash?

same price for either version, yes it should hold up after it dries for a week. i wouldnt recommend installing it and then going thru a car wash the next day :)

Can you make something like this for a 2013 and have it match the hood lines? I do not have a hood scoop.

I think the better way to do this, and ive discussed it with others is to leave the scoop solid, and add the TRD lettering on top of it after the fact. as the lettering will be small and if i cut it out of the scoop it might make it delicate in that area.

I dont have vinyl that large. it would prob need to be done with knifeless tape and a huge 25 sq ft (5x5) section of vinyl

Gah, I just had to endure this on a long drive the other day. My buddies kept asking if it was my brakes. Nope, just shitty Toyota window sills.

So probably more cost effective to just mask off and plastidip?

Hahahah 2 virtues that I do not have :p hahaha if it isn’t to expensive I’d probably order 2 just Incase I fuck it up once. But after that I’d go straight for the dip
