@Puppypunter Just to clarify, I'm looking to get just the basic brake tap. Let me know when you decide to do the next batch.

Did you (or anyone else here) end up installing this?

Picked up a SnugTop and wanting to get around to wiring 3rd brake
PM sent to OP to try and get 'basic' version on order
plan is to plug this thing into the left tail

Noticed my SnugTop harness (dangling from left bottom) is 3-pin (2 merge into 1 if I peel back the wiring IIRC) - kind of odd compared to all the pics I see online of 4-pin
Can always cut the connector off and crimp in a new one

I guess that only leaves one question; addressing making up the pathway from shell plug (near bedside rail), down to the tail
How'd you do this? Section of wire harness to make from scratch?

Is there even a convenient hidden way to hide/run said wiring, without messing with the truck too much?
Last Taco I saw simply had a hole drilled into the plastic bed for that; which I guess is not that big a deal

    what front bumper is that?

Some of us have selected a Deutsch flange mounted high in the bedside for supplying the signals. Then the topper plugs into the flange.

We don’t have a fully plug and play kit for that since you’d have to crimp on the Deutsch terminals on the other side anyway. But if someone wanted longer leads than the standard 12”, we could do that.

Mine’s still working great after 3 years or so. And the vendor is great to work with.
