I really haven't had much time lately to work on the truck, but I touched up the paint on the front bumper and it's as good as new.

Also my wife talked me into buying the hypertherm and I received it late last night.

This should take my garage fab up to the next level. No more hours and hours of cutting with the 4" grinder!! :)

@GsxRtaco Also curious about the Nilight brand lights at this point since you've had them. Have you used them much?
Looking into a 20" or 30" light bar from them to put on my truck. Haven't really seen a terrible review yet, I think some people just expect WAY too much from certain things. I also won't be climbing any rocks or driving 100mph through mud holes lol

My front led bar is from a company called eyourlife and I haven't had any issues with it at all. It is very bright but even if it's not as bright as the big names for the price it's worth having the extra light over stock when you need/ want it. I only hooked the nilights up to a battery quickly to see how bright they were, not crazy bright, still way brighter than stock reverse lights though.

Oh... Lol I gotcha I don't know exact weights but I can tell you the front isn't that heavy but the back will be quite a bit heavier. Even just the rear tube with mounts and the reciever tube is probably 50-60 lbs and I still have to add on a bunch of plate. Like I said be fore though it could easily be made lighter by using thinner material, I think my front bumper proved 3/16" is defiantly capable you could possibly even go thinner depending on your planned use. For me I want my ass end heavy for driving in the snow. If I end up not liking it I could always build another one... Especially now that I have my new toy. ;)

I've been trying to convince my village to let me build a big workshop, they have a ridiculous 7' maximum garage door height rule with 8' max wall height.

have you ever considered buying one of those easy up canopies? you could just pop it up and have it right at the garage door and put the front end or back end of your truck under it as well. then you can stay dry and covered between inside the shop and working on the truck even if the truck can only just make it to the door.

That is an option, one day when I was working on my front bumper I made something like that with a tarp. I wonder if they make something like that you can pull your entire vehicle in with a thick canvas roof and wall that would hold up to snow.

Something you could actually seal up and put a heat source in.
