Thanks man I think it is coming together nicely so far. Definitely sucks when it's snowing and cold outside.

Am of understanding that living in Alberta we get some shitty weather here also. Now it's suppose to get down to -40 with the wind chill

Not yet lol it's not forgotten about and I'm still alive. It's just really crappy outside. I've been working extra hours saving money to do more cool stuff when it warms up. I was in a rush to get it done until it got too cold outside, but once it got below zero I decided I'm in no hurry haha. If my truck fit in the garage it would be done by now, and redoing the garage do the truck fits is one of the things I've been saving for. Along with a heater for the garage. But yea I look at the truck everyday and think about finishing the bumper. Believe me it will be finished and you guys will be the first to know.

Have you had a chance to work on your rear bumper?

No, but I have been doing a little work on the garage to try and make it more taco friendly. I did some work on the garage door to get it up higher. I can now drive into the garage and park with the truck. Not much room for walking around it, much less working on it.
image.jpg Now I need to do some major reorganization. Also I'm planning on removing the second floor/attic that I don't use and putting in an 18' wide garage door. That way I can park centered in the garage with plenty of room. Right now there is a beam in the center of the garage with vertical posts like the one in the picture holding up the weight of the attic. waisting valueable space. Also I'm going to convert my tube bender to hydraulic so I don't have to keep it bolted to the floor right in the center of the garage it really takes up a lot of space for how often it gets used. It will be nice to wheel it out of the way.

Nice. That'll be nice to have your truck inside. Out of that snow. Once everything is done it'll be so nice to have room to walk around and work on things.

Well with such a beautiful weather this morning I decided to drink some beer and make some progress on the bumper. Mostly just taced a bunch of pieces on. The cool thing is now that the truck is in the garage I don't have to remove any of it and can just start where I leave off next time.

    image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg This is where I'm at for now.
