Does anyone know where I can find port inserts for the unused ports (next to the aux input) on a 2nd gen dash? Specifically a USB port as I just installed an Alpine ILX650 head unit.

    Attached a picture for clarity:

This might fit I'm not sure. I thought about going a similar route. My truck is older and doesn't have any of those ports. When I got my new head unit I thought about using a similar usb port except it was round instead of rectangular because it would be easy to use a stepped drill bit to insert the the round adapter into then plug the male usb end into the back of my head unit.
    Round one:

Actually just found this one, people are saying it fits like OEM and works well with carplay. Just ordered it

I installed the same Alpine in my 09 in Aug and used this cable: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078LRSZDB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
BATIGE Square Single Port USB 3.0 Panel Flush Mount Extension Cable with Buckle for Car Truck Boat Motorcycle Dashboard 3ft

Works great for Apple and Android. Just got a blank and used a exacto knife and a dremel to make a hole in the blank so the plug fit.

Has anyone been able to integrate the OEM USB/Aux cable for an aftermarket radio?
