I have been running them for a few months now...maybe since April? No issues with install and no issues since then. Let me know if there's anything else specific you'd like feedback on.

Nice, good to hear! And they were coated when you got them, correct? I think it was the NeGeon's that were not coated.

    Thanks again!

Is this "gateway" something most shops have, you just need to ask about it or is it just like a website and then you list your pick up location? Always down for some small discounts on OEM parts!

Had this done in January. Overall I'm happy with the upgrade. I went with OEM pads/rotors for the 2013 T4R & NAPA calipers. Also swapped out all 4 brake lines for the braided stainless lines from Wheeler's.
Brake pedal travel did not change noticeably & is firmer - still not great, but better than stock! Only issue so far was a fitting that came loose on the driver's side in July & bled out all my fluid. Made for a scary drive home from the grocery store with only the E-Brake functional! Easy fix & has been solid since.

Which Lewis Toyota in Kansas did you use? When I type that into the Google it gives me one in Topeka, Dodge City, and Garden City. None of which are like Camelback or McGeorge in that you can find all your parts on line and then click order. When I visit any of the Lewis Toyota sites I mentioned above, you need to email them a request for the parts. I can do that, but with only being able to enter 3 part numbers at a time its going to take several emails. Maybe just send one and ask for a call back to give them the other part numbers? just curious if I am looking at the same place you ordered your rotors from.

If you want OEM rotor or pads you can buy them from rockauto. Look for Advic brand which is the manufacturer that makes the wheel cylinder s, pads, and rotors for Toyota.

Topeka. They have a web portal for ordering. Http://parts.lewistoyota.com if I remember correctly.

Worked like a charm! And you cant beat free shipping when it comes to car parts haha.

Here is what I ordered and current prices from this vendor. I opted to go with new calipers vs reman's. Also, popped my inner cv joint out while hunting over Thanksgiving. Got it apart and put back together to get home, but this would be the third rebuild (the other two were boot tear related) so I think its just time for a new axle. I will likely rebuild it though since I already have a boot kit and then throw it in as a spare that's ready to go.

Excuse the dirty wheel spacers, just completed the swap today. I will say that the bleeder screws on the Napa calipers are horrible. When trying to bleed the system, fluid creeps past the threads and air gets into the lines. Going to try and swap them with my oem screws

This swap has been great for a few years now, I will say after a while the Napa calipers allow the brake pads to shift enough they give a very audible click any time you shift from reverse to drive. So I'll most likely be going with OEM calipers next time I replace the brake pads.

For anyone that did this upgrade and wants to do the tundra master/booster, is there any interest in a group buy for the adapter hoses?

okay I've read though this several times, is there a 4runner year I can just make it AutoZone proof? Just say i've a "20XX" year 4runner, and trim level, I need these brake rotors, calipers, and pads. just want to be able to order and get it done. so, i can make my order once, since my weeks are busy, and parts hunting is a pain.

2009 Lexus GX470 is probably the best bet. Still verify the parts you get are correct before doing the install - no telling if AutoZones computers are accurate, or if the parts jockey pulling them off the shelf doesn’t grab the wrong one.

I put in autozones website, 2009 4runner with the 4.7l V8, rotors are 338mm, so 13.30 in, and calipers are WH, and then pads. only thing they dont seem to have is a dust shield, so i may be orderng that somewhere else.

Dust shield is OEM only, no parts store will have that.

was hoping i was able to search dust shield, but then nothing pulled up, so we will play the game at the local Toyota dealership, also any need to swap over to new hard lines other than the added bonus of the stronger brake pressure?

Order online, they will be cheaper. I typically go through parts.lewistoyota.com because here in the midwest it is lowest cost. Chances are another vendor from the parts.toyota.com platform would be best for your location.

Re the hard lines - are you talking about the small "Z" or "S" shaped hardline that goes from caliper to the soft line? If so, then all I can say is your original ones should work with just a small tweak by hand. I ordered new ones because they are like $3 each and I didn't want to be left stranded doing it on a Sunday.

On the other hand if by "hard lines" you mean switching the rubber OE soft lines to a stainless braided line: What I can say is I did them at the same time but it's not 100% necessary. You can do it later too. Mostly up to what you are doing with your build. Is there a difference in feel? I could drink my own Koolaid and tell you "YES ABSOLUTELY!" but I won't because it's not necessarily the truth. From my experience it's a minor difference in feel or performance under normal conditions. Talking about more extreme braking conditions then yes no question they will be better. 95% of the difference will be the bigger brakes and caliper so don't expect this to be anything quantifiable.

Are you running 16” or 17” wheels? 16” use the Lexus
    17” order 14 4runner
