    I would start your own thread on the issue. Probably get more traction that way, and not clog this thread up.

    That said Id start simple, look for a loose heat shield(s) or exhaust fitting

    How do I know which diff fluid wt mine takes and whether or not it needs to have the LS additive

    Almost all of the diffs (except ones running a higher pinion "regear" for aftermarket purposes) run 75w-90, and yes you will look for the one with LS additive but not 100% necessary.
