Hey I recently swapped out the factory chrome headlights on my 06 and would like to recoup some costs of the new ones. These are in good condition, all tabs are intac bulbs or the black rubber boots that cover the headlight are not included. The passenger side light has a small scuff from a rock or something else, I tried to get a pic of it but will not show up. Scuff is about a 1/16 wide and less than a half inch long it's really not noticeable but I just want to be a %100 on description. I'm asking $60 for the pair and would like to keep it local to Portland but would be willing to ship if needed. Shipping costs are on the buyer though. Form of payment if being shipped is a USPS money order or personal check that will be held for 5 days to make sure of sufficient funds.

I apologize for the appearance of being shady, it's not my intent to rip anyone off at all. The pics I used was out of laziness ( not taking my own and not reading forum rules). Reasoning for a USPS money order is that there is a paper trail and I choose not to support PayPal because they are anti-gun. I have a flawless itrader rating on northwest firearms under the same user name. Now on to the pics.

Would you be willing to ship the lights and let the buyer send payment when they recieve them? Probably not. See where I'm going with this? With a MO there is no buyer protection. I sent a guy a MO once for an ECU, when he recieved the MO he sent me excuses and nothing more, I was SOL. You're going to have a hard time making a deal like that these days.

    +1

Totally understand your feelings against PayPal, but honestly, there are far more companies that you do business with regularly that support political activities that are opposed to our views.

Damned hard to conduct business over the net without accepting PayPal. Shame too, I'd be interested in these lights assuming reasonable shipping to Los Angeles.

That. I only pointed it out for that reason. I got jipped $75 for trusting somebody with a MO. Many others feel the same way but looks like you have interest so you're good to go!

Did not mean to crap the thread.

There is no CYA in using MO's and there is a button called gift when USING paypal that doesn't SUPPORT paypal. Paypal has your back for 30 days and the credit card that fuels your paypal acct has your back for 45 days. No need to care what they support just as they don't discriminate against you for whoever you support. GLWS and GLWP.........

gifting money also means that paypal cannot try to get that money back from whoever you sent it to if something goes south.

That's where the 2nd level protection from the credit card comes in.

i dont think they're going to do anything when you tell them it was a gifted amount on paypal to avoid $3 in fees.

since you actually authorized it as a gift, i would think that some credit cards will say there is nothing they can do, however, I also think that some will take care of it as fraudulent because you didn't get your goods.

I have experienced the positive result of the 2nd part of your statement. Paid and didn't receive what I paid for. Money refunded via credit card company.........didn't happen from purchase here tho :D

that's good to hear, i think it pretty much depends on who you talk to, and how much you sweet talked the foreign call answerer :)
