Thanks for checking on the color code...if you do still have it I would greatly appreciate it! Select Products is about 20 minutes away...they normally have a large stock of SEM...have to go get more FG, mat, and some epoxy anyway. I love their "bubble-gum" resin, IMO the odor is MUCH less "offensive" than standard resin...i know my neighbors notice the difference :)

    Thanks again.

I plan on trying this myself later this summer. Basically just waiting on getting some extra kicks, then I'll make some baffles and give it a go.

It will be my first time trying anything like this as well. If mine turn out anywhere near as nice as AzTRD's I be as happy as a kid in a candy store on extacy.

This was a one time deal for me... and I have no real desire to make more.

If you're looking to have a set made... I was quoted $700 by a local car audio custom fab shop. When I first heard the number I was in sticker shock, but if you think about it, the price seems reasonable. Most car audio fabricators charge $60-$70 per hour (at least where I live) plus the cost of material (speaker rings, grill cloth, CA glue, resin, fiberglass, duraglass, body filler, spot filler, primer, texture coating, paint, and sand paper). "Actual" time spent on making something like these is about 10+ hours.

Do you like them enough/see enough benefits out of them to do them again, say if you ever got another vehicle with horrible stock locations like our trucks?

And BTW, how are they working out for you aiming wise? I think at one point (possibly in a pm) you said you thought you might have had the aiming off a tad? They were both aimed at the overhead light if I remember right...
