You could always make some custom tabs that bend outward to accommodate the larger size...shouldn't be too big a deal?

This is a possible solution. I can't say conclusively at this point what it will take to mount a 50" bar, either straight or curved because there are so many different brands/models out there.

The mounts are right about 47.5" apart. The way that my racks were designed allows you to use the provided tabs to mount anything within that width.

Another possible alternative is to do away with the round tube and tabs altogether. You can mount an LED bar right up to the side brackets by drilling 2 small holes and bolting them up. You can bend the brackets in or out to match your LED bar size.

I have sold a few sets of the side brackets only for people to do exactly that. It is up to the buyer to figure any of that out. I may still have 1 or 2 sets available. I will check tomorrow.

Wishing I had not put the factory roof rack on after seeing this, does not look as if this would work seeing as the holes to bolt it in are quite taken. SMH

On an access cab, can the drip channel trim be reinstalled atop this bracket's mounts?

Yes, but it will need a little trimming. Access cabs and single cabs will also require you to drill four 1/4" (6mm) holes. Double cabs are ready to bolt on with no drilling.

Anyone that has a lightbar up top how do you run the wires down? I was told along the side of the windshield which is a good idea, the light bar sits back further than that rain channel.. Just wondering the best way to minimize the amount of wire that is visible. Thanks!
