If it doesn't have the provisions for the factory rack, you would need to get either a yakima style crossbar or drill.

Square peg/round hole here....do you think it would be possible to make these brackets for a 4th gen 4Runner? Of course i would have to find somebody closer to you that would be willing to let you check out their truck in person.

I was also curious if there was a lot of wind noise with these mounts and a light bar?

    Thanks in advance

I am also interested in your light mounting system. The initial pictures are not showing on my computer. My question is why not make a mount for the back of the bed...kinda like a roll bar or headache rack and then mount the lights. It seems like there would be less issues at 70mph on the bed of the truck than mounting it to the roof. Just curious. Thanks for the input.

Note: I also saw nfs moved his light bar back for better visibility.

Sorry guys, I am planning on getting back on top of this. I just got back from Parker, I'm going to do everything I can to bring you guys an update before the Mint 400.

I could definitely do a headache rack style mount, completely bolt-on and mounted to the bed rails. If there is enough interest, I can look into it.

Good news, I just placed an order on the first batch of CNC water-jetted pieces.

Once I confirm that the quality meets my standards, I will move forward with the first prototypes.

The new system will be shippable and completely adaptable to any size LED light bar, as well as a number of other relevant accessories.

The light rack in itself will be completely bolt-on/bolt-off to 2005+ Double Cab models. The only permanent modifications would be the trimming of the rubber rain channel strips if you want to use them.

A little bit of welding will be required for final positioning of your light. This is the only way that I can accommodate all the different size/brand LED bars without doing everything in-house.

The good news is that you will be able to fine tune the position of your LED bar higher/lower and forward/backward. For locals, I can provide the welding and installation. I can finish 100% of the welding for people who require shipping as well, as long as they can provide me with measurements of their LED bars.

Grade 12.9 metric hardware will be provided to attach the system to the roof.

More than likely, the price will be right around $150.

A 40" E-series would be the best combo, that's what I'm planning on running myself.

Looks good. Do you think a 50" would be too wide? Almost seems like if instead of the bracket inboard for a 40" that if it was outboarded by about 1" on each side a 50" (52" overall) would fit.

Saw a taco on instagram with a 50" up top and looked killer so trying to figure out how to make that happen on my taco. Haven't got my mitts on one yet....

I've mocked up a 50" bar before and it was too big for my taste. My production mounts were meant for roughly a 45" bar but may be able to accommodate a 50".

I should have a working prototype by the end of Monday or Tuesday, we will know for sure then.

The best thing about my design is that it can work in stages. You don't necessarily have to be able to afford a 40-50" bar. You can start small and work your way up/out. You can start with Dually's or a 10-20" bar and fill the gaps as you can afford it/want.

Will these work with the factory roof rack? Possibly between the rack mount and gutter gasket?

    Thanks,
