I have noticed lately that Tacoma service manuals are now available at www.helminc.com - they have the same numbers as the factory manuals from Toyota, 4 volumes, look like they will be the same thing. Last night I ordered the set ($280) plus a wiring diagram manual ($60), that is pricey but a heck of a lot cheaper than what Toyota wants for the same thing ($900). The online (downloadable) version from ncttora is great, but having the actual printed manual is a lot easier to use. I plan keeping this truck (2010) a long time, and just one or two repairs and they will pay for themselves. Don't anticipate needing a service manual anytime soon (1500 miles on truck) but I figured that by the time I needed them, the price would be higher, maybe a lot higher, maybe not even available.
