Also I got the front brake lines fitted and I am thoroughly impressed how well everything just bolted in. Check it out.

2 bolts of the air intake lined right up, I had to drill and weld a nut for the 3rd bolt. I have to lean the window washer fluid reservoir forward a bit to clear the intake box since it is pretty massive. I had to drill all 3 holes for the SAI pump. I will put the power steering reservoir behind the secondary air injection pump. Looks awesome, I can almost see the engine in there boys!!

Today the investigator from corporate toyota called me today to make sure I got the fire wall insulator. He also thought my project was pretty cool and suggested that I upload pictures on their corporate website LOL. I will definitely do it and recommend that this be considered as an option for future production Tacomas hahaha.

Holley also makes a relocation mount for the SAI that fits there unless the GX one was really different but looks similar.

Not sure any of those kits would work on my 05 since there was no sais on these to begin with. 3 nuts, my welder and some touch up paint relocated it for basically free so I am happy going that route.

Makes sense the relocate though used the existing ones that the power steering and windshield fluid are so figured it would. You’re already golden but another option potentially for anyone else thinking of giving this a go.

Boom SAI Pump and power steering resi mounted! I had to modify the power steering resi bracket to mount it on one existing threaded hole. I had to drill hole and weld a nut for the second hole. Also check out that airbag sensor wire routing, what a beauty. I am hoping the AC lines will cooperate nicely also.

I have a gx470 without SAI and I could tell ya I'd rather keep the SAI for cold starts. I don't get why people are so up in arms about deleting the SAI. They got it sorted out pretty good on late models. The parts are expensive, source them from online dealerships and replace them yourself. Also do the filter mod. The system is really nice to have when you start your truck in your garage or in front of an open garage. I don't like breathing cold start gas fumes so I am keeping it.

Hewitt makes a delete kit for 400 bucks on sale right now. If I am spending 400 bucks then I might as well just buy new valves and a pump.

It’s just a bypass kit. It leaves the SAIS in place. Before wasting any money on that I’d go HPTuners (or do that anyway!!!) and just turn it off in the ECM.

If hp tuners supported the gx460 I'd buy it.
