Here are some part numbers for Toyota harness clamps if you'd rather use them instead of the clamps you're now using.

I know you've already mostly figured this out, but the parking brake switch is wired to multiple locations. It splits in the junction block and goes to both the body ECU and the navigation system.

Yeah I was just confused when it was illustrated like that on the stereo diagram. It makes sense now.

Thanks I definitely need some of those, trying to stuff so many wires behind the tacoma dash has definitely been a challenge. I like the clamps I am using now because I can weld a bolt on anywhere and make a solid mount point. What I really need is some oem style engine bay harness stud mount clamps. I called toyota and they said they don't sell them without the harness. The ones I got don't hold the harness above the studs very well so the harness is hanging below the studs.

The stuffing continues... I decided to send this loom behind and under the vent to push the plugs back. They were interfering with the glove box. It appears I might have to clearance the glove box a bit on the top left corner to clear the 3 computers (and their plugs) that I stuffed up into the dash. Also I relocated the sonar (the red one) computer more towards the rear because there are wires now where it used to be.

I couldn't find a Toyota part number for those. I did find this: https://www.waytekwire.com/item/212...MI5J6Xi7T-_QIVpf7jBx22oQCcEAQYASABEgIVmPD_BwE
Search for "stud type wire clamp" on Google, you might find something you need.

82712-50210 should be the clamp you're looking for, I believe.
(82711-2D380 would also work but is not available in North America)

Well I have been sick for a week but now I am better. I don't have much of an update but here is what I plan on with the Start/stop button. I fits almost perfectly. The wires line up behind it pretty nicely also.

Also I worked on organizing/fastening these wires which are to the right of the radio. These will provid power to my pioneer stereo and the ones under the passenger seat have all the speaker wires that will hook up to my pioneer 5 channel amp.

I just went for it and threw in the left side body harness. Lots of work to do to fasten down but I have been dragging this on too long. The body needs to be wired by the end of may!

Just looking at this makes my head hurt. I'm terrible with wiring. As many people have already stated this build is incredible. Your attention to detail is second to none. When you're done you will have something to be proud of.

I came across that too when I initially started researching this project. Now that I am further along into it, I see the frame rails are the same width, it makes a lot of sense why they are able to interchange the engines on these models.

Thank you for the response, it's a privilege to hear from you. I'm going to read and enjoy this entire thread from start to current. Fun stuff. Take care. I love doing electrical work, but some of those pics give me a headache. ;)

Almost half way done with the left side body harness. All airbag wires are lining up nicely. The under seat wiring lines up too. B piller wiring is done, I fastened everything as much as I could but did have to glue down the door plug. On the gx the rear door harness plug clicks into a rectangular hole on the body. I extend the harness and put it down on silicone. It's a little bit redneck but atleast it won't vibrate.
Seat belt restraint system plugs right into the tacoma belt.

My goal is to have wiring, gas tank mounted, and rear axle installed by end of may, June is for installing the engine, tranny and cooling system. Probably end of Julyish. I might be overly optimistic but thats the timeline.
