Congratulations. I know exactly how you feel, and it's great!

For the key fob, the electronics should fit into other Toyota key housings from the late 2000's/early 2010's, I would suggest a key from a 2009-2012 RAV4 Limited, as it will only have the lock/unlock/panic buttons and nothing to do with the trunk/liftgate.

For the engine bay, there is an engine cover with the Toyota logo that would fit the engine and make everything look like it came that way, 11209-38100.

Good luck as you move forward sorting out any minor issues and/or getting it all buttoned up.

I am trying to sort out these codes, I am a bit suspicious of the of a bad connection if all of them come on at once.

There doesn't appear to be any other connections between the PCM and transmission so you must either have some broken wires or pins not making contact.

Yeah, 1 step in the diagnosis is to check the transmission wiring harness inside the pan. I really hope it's not the main harness.

It's a long shot but this transmission was laying in my garage all winter long with lots of grinding/scaling and wire wheeling. It is possible that ferrous dust is causing shorting here because I didn't think to tape it up. I will disconnect the plug tomorrow, inspect it and hit it with some compressed air. Check the to see if the DTCs go away. if not, then the pan is coming off. It sucks because I just installed the front drive shaft and this connector is on the left side of the tranny.

Did you atleast get a chance to drive it down the driveway?

It could be the connectors just not seated all the way either. I guess if you wanted to test the harness without pulling it, you could get some test leads and test continuity between corresponding pins.

OEM Lexus Main engine room harness are extremely expensive...
